Denver Nuggets!

Well Family this weekend we are off for an adventure. Friday night at 8:30 we will be watching the Denver Nugs LIVE! Sure will miss you :) I'll take some pictures.

On top of that we get to go with Krystyn to the temple and also a lady from 6th ward that I became friends with while we were there. They are both going through at the same time and for the first time. Very exciting!

Guitar Hero!

Is anyone else basically addicted to this game? I love it! We played it for our Monday FHE and I learned a new trick! The notes on the screen that have white tops can be played by just pushing the colored buttons and not strumming... it's amazing :)

YAY VALENTINES DAY!!!

Well for all of you romantics and those non ones as well. I would like to know what you did for Valentines Day! Nae get any flowers from secret admirers? Allen how many girls gave you a kiss? Jacob did you give a valentine to anyone special? Mom and Dad what did you do? Sarah did Stephen love your dinner?
I created a treasure hunt for David. He picked up puzzle pieces with each clue in the end he put it together and it was a two page list of things I love about him. Meanwhile I was putting the finishing touches on his favorite meal lasagna!!! We ate by candlelight and he brought in a rose along with a hilarous card and a cute pink pig (stuffed animal of course). For desert we had heart rice crispies (carrying on the tradition mom). Then we snuggled on the couch and ate strawberries and whip cream. It was a wonderful night! Hope everyone had a great day!

A Happy Valentine's Day Recipe

I got to take the reins for Valentine's Day this year! Stephen and I decided that we are trying to save money, so I created a lovely little restaurant out of my kitchen (complete with sparkling cider, candle light, and romantic music). I made Chicken Parmesan and it was bascially AMAZING tasting so I thought I'd share the recipe. It's cheap and really easy to make. (both needed qualities for starving college students.)

Parmesan Chicken
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
6 Tbs Grated Parmesan Cheese

6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1-1/2 lb.)
1-1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Pour sauce into 13x9-inch baking dish. Stir in 4 Tbsp. (1/4 cup) of the Parmesan cheese. Add chicken; turn over to evenly coat both sides with sauce. Cover with foil.

BAKE 30 min. Uncover.

TOP with mozzarella cheese and remaining 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese; continue baking 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted. Serve over noodles if desired.

So I don't usually follow recipes very well except for the oven part. It's basically putting spaghetti sauce and cheese on chicken. And definitely put it over noodles! (it's the best that way!)

Ultrasound Experience

Well family here is the short version of the last hour of my life. Getting an ultra sound is super cool!!! First you have to drink a quart of water and hold it for over an hour. You know me and my bladder now add pregnancy to it and think of the discomfort I was in. It was painful. They put warm jelly on your tummy and start rolling the blobber around. You see all sorts of gray blobs and think (Is this my child? Where?) We were able to see our baby playing peek a boo, we saw her yawn, we saw his/her heart beat, and heard it as well, we saw the spine and all the bones in the legs and hands and fingers. She/He moved around a lot! It was pretty cool to feel her move and see it at the same time. The tech took pictures of the heart, kidneys, head, brain, bones in the legs, you name it there is a picture of it! We got to take home a video which is pretty cool! We will send it with Aunt Tammy so that you can see because it is pretty darn amazing!! You can make out arms and legs and head pretty well. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Unfortunatley at this time I can not get the picture we got to down load to this blog. I'll keep working on it and maybe I'll have a picture up tomorrow.

Baby

Well the day we have been waiting for has arrived! The votes have been cast and I have promised a candybar to those who are correct. Unfortunately your niece/nephew or grandbaby has not decided to cooperate. The umbilical cord was in the way right between the legs!!! How frustrating. I turned from one side to the other and the cord moved a little. The tech said she thinks it could be a girl. But it looks as if we will have to wait until June 29 sorry to delay the bet. :)

HOT AND COLD

So I was babysitting Taryn and Conner and we were playing "Hot and Cold". Conner showed me the latest and greatest way to play!!! :)

Something Interesting!

So here I am...just chillin in my room. For once I don't have somewhere I need to be. It's kind of a weird feeling. I want to post something that's interesting, but I don't really know what. I figure if I keep typing, it will come to me. I just finished my fourth lab for the week. Gotta love lab. I'm getting my passport papers turned in. Hmmm.... I wonder if the light bulb in my brain has a short circut...ya know the one that lights up when you get an idea? ... WAIT! there it goes! SO I got this really weird email two days ago. I showed to Jenna and we laughed for ten minutes straight. So here's the email. (my comments are in blue)

Hey Sarah what's up? (not me!) This is McKay. (ok this guy was interested in me five months ago but I had no idea he was still hanging on)

I got a confession to make. I thought your dancing last Saturday night was way hot. (it was a church dance so don't be gettin any ideas) but that really doesn't matter because u have a boy friend already. Right (Right. Back to the subject)
Well this is going to sound weird and obsession like, (uh YEAH) but I am going to say it anyways. I am having a difficult time coming to grips with the reality. The reality that I won't ever be able to even take you on a date. so in response to this crazy e-mail could you please just tell me what you see in Steven. (it's Stephen) this may seam (he must like sewing) like a "crack-ed out" (crack-ed out?) request but I think it will help me get a grip.
