In memory of the sunglasses

So I just finished my first test of the week! One down and two more to go! Oh yeah :) And of course before i start studying my brains out I must take a break. Hmmm...what shall I do with my break. Oh I know! POST!

So here's the story (and not of a man name brady). Once upon a time I had these AMAZING sunglasses that I just looked hot in. Observe exhibit A.

One day a friend of mine saw the sunglasses and tried them on, discovering they had the same effect on him as they did me. Observe exhibit B.

Exhibit B

Wanting to look hot for a particular date, he stole the sunglasses unbeknownst to yours truly. And as Murphy's law would go, the glasses could not be returned at the end of the night because they had been accidently shattered. Good thing I believe in forgiveness.

Watch out college here I come

The roads were awful on the way down, in wich I was lucky enough to drive on them. Though I am a perfect driver there are others on the road that aren't that is what made it scary


For the weekend me my friend pace and my mother went on a weekend tour of colleges. We first swung over to Laramie and then took a detour over to Casper.

Oh the Randomness...

I'm sad I'm the only one who's posted in the last four days...then again I AM the administrator of this blog. Does that make me the one who posts excessively? Anywho....haha which is kind of like ANYWAY... I was talking to Stephen's brother Robert today and, because I spent a minimum of nine hours studying science topics today, bacteria was on my mind. I was telling Robert about "the micro-organism Proprionobacter shermani which is responsible for making swiss cheese. It consumes lactic acid and produces CO2 (carbon dioxide)...the CO2 makes air pockets in the cheese and thus you have holey swiss cheese whien you cut it in slices. The cool thing is that the bacteria that causes acne comes from the same family"...at this Robert just starts laughing.

I say, "what?"

He goes, "I know a lot of random facts but that...hahaha....that.....hahaha...." and he never finishes his sentence because he's laughing so hard.

When he is once again able to breathe, we resume our conversation which takes it path to the fuzzy footed birds that live in new zealand that love to pick the rubber off your car's windshield wipers and car door frames. I love this family....

YAY Horton!

Ok so if anyone hasn't seen this movie (Horton Hears a Who) I would HIGHLY reccomend that you do! It's hilarious! And...mostly in an intelligent way. I laughed more than the little kids did in the theatre :)

Housekeeping?

As many of you know Stephen has been dilligently working away on the basement unit of his house. When it's all finished I'll post before and after pictures. I just thought I throw in the update in case anyone was wondering.

I'm HOME!

Hooray! I made it back to Laramie safely! And of course, I have to blog before I get anything done! :) GREAT NEWS! Stephen likes my hair. :) And he was definitely suprised. I think that's the longest I've ever held a secret from him. He is just working away at the house today as he has been for the last week. He's so cute! Ok i'm going to try not to talk about Stephen every other sentence! ANYWAY...haha ok so funny story insert here: While I was staying at Anna and Dave's, my beloved bro-in-law pointed out to me that I talk and talk and talk and when someone comments on what I'm saying I nod and then say ANYWAY and start talking non stop again. So he just kept laughing while I kept talking until he pointed it out and then I couldn't talk normally anymore! And I just realized I do it when i'm typing too...

ANYWAY I had such an amazing spring break! I got to see my Star Valley family, my best girl buddy EVER who's living in Provo, my Casper family and my Walgreen's co-workers. I think I made more money than I spent, so the trip was justified! And wanna know what I'm gonna do now? Well....after I unpack?

Prom Fund?

So I am hearing this nasty little rumor that Allen Boyd gets a prom fund? What is this all about? Uncle David has cashed in, G&G Donley have cashed in. I hear is it nearing $200. This sounds like a bribe to me. So Allen the big question is, Who are you taking? I think that part of the deal should be that they have to actually go to the dance and actually dance! By the way I never got a Sadie Hawkins fund. In fact I am surprised that Dad didn't try to start a fund to get me to stay home :)

Spring Break!

Anna's Raise

Well family it has finally happened!!! I have gotten a raise. This now highly qualified teacher (with my Bachelors to prove it) is teaching for 9.25 an hour. Ok so its not that great, but it was a 75 cent raise. All because I asked when we were going to get one. Goes to show that it doesn't hurt to ask. :)

Interview!

Today was the big interview day! Not real exciting...my interview wasn't until 4:30 so a lot of waiting around. Thank you to all of you for your prayers. I had just gotten back from my interview and was talking to the mommo on the phone in my room. My room is upstairs and I hear my name yelled really loud downstairs by a male voice. I think Huh...that's weird and proceed down the stairs to the back door to look around for confirmation that I'm not crazy. Nobody. So I turn around and there on the kitchen counter are...

UW Brown and Gold

Last Saturday was the annual Brown and Gold Ball sponsored by the LDSSA (Latter-Day Saint Student Association) For the bargain price of $12.00 you get dinner for two, a speaker, and some formal dancin. Me and my baby were lookin pretty darn fly I must say.

I got told that I looked just like cinderella :) Isn't that a nice compliment?!

I am also very impressed with Stephen's ability to color coordinate. My dress is the wierdest blue color ever and he matches wonderfully!

This is Stephen's roommate Ty and his date Nancy. (Ladies he's single and going to med school next year. If you want his number let me know :)

We had a BLAST!!! And of course we played guitar hero afterwards...

Well everyone keeps saying that I am still so tiny. I can see that from their view why they would think that, but take a look at the next post and you will understand why I don't think I'm that tiny :) Being pregnant is fun :) By the way I feel the baby moving all the time. I can't wait until you guys get to feel :)

Weekend in Lander

This weekend we traveled to Lander to do a booth at their Winter Fair. Just like to add that the idea of a Winter Fair is retarded :). Anyway we met some nice people, some very interesting people, and some strange people. This is David chilling in our booth. This is mainly what we did for 3 days and a total of 25 hours. I sure hope it pays off :) They did have a stage on the other side of the gym and some good entertainment and some sad entertainment :) Overall it was an adventure. I sure was proud of David as I listened to him sell his business. What a great business man!!

Hi there familia....I just wanted to apologize for not POSTing for about week and thus I have decided to do better because being a blogging junky is everyone's ultimate goal, right? As I have now written down my new goal, I would like to invite all of you Dahlites to POST MORE! The only one with any excuse is Anna.

A) Because she's pregnant. (that has nothing to do with anything but it is always a good excuse)
B) She doesn't have the internet at home

Back to the subject....which was.....oh yes: reasons why everyone else should POST A LOT MORE!

1. You use the internet everyday! (don't lie to me, I know you do.)
2. Blogging is cool... cool enough for a band.
3. You use a computer everyday...similar to no. 1 but not the same
4. You like it
5. God supports the family and thus He supports our blog! (Ok maybe that was a little sacraligious, but family is still cool, especially our family, thus making this blog cool.)

For real.... it doesn't have to have a picture....it doesn't have to be anything crazy. Just write about your day...about something dumb your friend did....about something dumb your friend saw you do...about the unusual growth on your toenail...ok maybe not that far, but you get the point.
