As you all know our wonderful Prophet has passed on. Dad sent around a great e-mail with pictures and comments if you haven't seen it you need to, it made me cry. As you all know our wonderful Prophet has passed on. Dad sent around a great e-mail with pictures and comments if you haven't seen it you need to, it made me cry. I think that we should each take a second and write what we remember or loved about President Hinkley. I know that he will be very missed.

President Hinkley was the prophet that I will remember for my growing up years. His books have helped me through my rough times. I loved his smile and his humor. When ever I heard him speak or saw him I got an overwhelming feeling that he was the true Prophet of God and was called for this time in our lives. I will miss him greatly, but I am glad that he has rejoined his wife and that it was his time to go.
I loved his jokes. He always had something funny to say in every one of his talks. He had a way of teaching the gospel that I will never forget. If anyone could light up a room with smiles and the spirit, it was him.
My favorite memory of pres. Hinkley was when we went to a general conference. The auditorium area was pretty loud because there were thousands of people talking to eachother. As soon as our prophet walked in, everyone stood up and the room went silent. President Hinkley raised his cane in hello and there was the most amazing spirit that testified This is a prophet of God. He was such a optimistic man and so easy to have faith in. I love President Hinkley.
